I just bought a 12valve out of a bus and I was wondering if anyone knew the specs on the bus motors Im going to take the p-pump off and some other things but I was told they already have 191 delivery valves just curious if anyone has any thing on these motors

No data plate on the timing cover?

Could be anywhere from 160hp to 215hp, though most likely a 190hp if intercooled.

It would be really cool if it was one of the 5.9s that cummins put in busses and cranes and commutting vehicles for research and development for the 89 d-250. What year is it?
1989 d250 muffler delete diaphram turned, fuel screw turned, the lowes special intake

Silverbullet, they had 5.9's in heavy equipment for a few years before they put them in trucks. I work on 'em every day! :D
