New Airbox!!!

Postby hassy21 » Mon Jul 07, 2008 1:22 pm

I just fabricated a new airbox for my stock filter but will also fit the bhaf. I made it from all aluminum sheet metal. Since I dont have a box brake I had to make two sides to it, but still looks good I think. Tell me what you guys think...Thanks

What holds the filter in? The 4 rivets? Oh, scratch that. I see it now. ;) Looks good, I hope it fits. I did the old smokey mount, and it doesn't quite fit right. I need to modify a little.

You can get a ram air scoop by opening up that puny little hole in front of the air filter box. Or run a scoop down to just behind and under the front bumper. I have considered doing that on mine. The stock set up just doesnt have the cold airflow I'd like.

Looks good.
