Oil Pressure

We are supposed to have oil pressure right around 60 PSI, right? How much fluctuation is normal?

It would depend on oil temp and idle setting. I had a mechanical gauge in a truck I sold and I don't remember seeing it below10 or 15 ever at idle. At rated rpm it was atleast 40 always. Had a cheapo gauge so who knows?

A healthy engine should read around 30psi at hot idle, 750rpm.
