WHite faced tach?

Postby dpuckett » Sat Oct 11, 2008 6:36 am

I have a set of white gauges that came in my W350, and my newly acquired D150 (yup, you read that right, I have gasoline power in my name for the moment) has white faced dash gauges as well, which can be easily transferred to my W-rig. I can get a white fuel pressure gauge, but dont remember seeing any white diesel tachs. Does anyone know of any? I'd like to stick with the bigger names- ISSPRO, Westach, etc.

I have a white face/blue needle Isspro tach to match my gauges, and I believe you can get a Phantom series AUtometer Tach as well.

I looked when i had the crew cab for a white tach, as i really like the white overlays in the factory cluster. i have a 3.5" (give or take) autometer tach left over from my ramcharger. Pete posted a link to a gadget once upon a time, that will allow a gasser tach to work with a diesel. i saved the link, but never looked into it much. i planned on getting one of those things, and using it with the white face tach i already have. might be worth lookng into

Randy- it's nice to know that I can get an ISSPRO tach. I might be a while getting it- I have to live off the pickup money til I start shoeing horses in another month or so. Do you remember the model number?

Rumblefish- I've not heard much good about Autometer in the diesel end of things, so I may pass on them. Though Philip has had good service from his autometers as far as I know.

IT is nice to know there are options out there.
