what turbo housing?

Postby clubcustoms » Fri Oct 24, 2008 6:20 pm

I have a 90' w-350 w/ a getrag and have tweaked the pump a little and im now trying to figure out wich turbo housing to buy. I think Ive narrowed it down to a 12 or 14cm but what about a wastegate? Do i need that or what? Please give me some direction here...

i had a gated 12 on my old crew cab and loved it, but it was on a hx35. my D350 will probably get one eventually.

i had one too for a while, but i didnt even have that much fuel and my pyro didnt like it... if i were you i would get a 14, but you wont be upset with the results either way, both will be a great improvement over your current housing for sure... you will feel it in the seet of your pants, and thats always nice

I don't think the $ is worth the extra 2cm. I would just run a 16cm housing without the gate and pour the fuel at it.

The 14cm2 is perfect and worth the money but the for a wastegated housing it's wasted money for price so go with a 14cm2 nonwastegated
90 W250 4x4 5spd pump Ve cranked wide open, BHAF, HX35 with all 2.5" intake piping, and 4" straight piped
92 W250 4x4 5spd P-pumped B1B over B2 are on and now slippy clutch
