OK here it is so far.

Look for the plate starting in front of the rear cab mount. I plated both sides and the bottom off both sides as well. The only rusted through place was in bottom rib next to the fuel tank. That plastic peice that slips on the frame to protect the tank did wonders on the frame. ( but the tank is good ). The rest of the frame had no holes but was pitted real bad in a few places so I decided to put some strength back. I had to replace all 4 spring hangers. There are over 30 holes on each side of the frame I had to redrill from the back after plating. The bottom rib was looking a little thin so doubled that all the way to rear. Everything was needle gunned and also sandblasted spots gun would not reach then 2 coats of POR 15 rusty metal paint. Will update in a few weeks with some more. I am not the best welder but don't claim to be.

Lotta work, isn't it? :( I don't think I'll ever do it again, just don't have the ambition anymore. It looks good so far though. ;)

Thats about all I am gonna get done before bad weather. Atleast its water tight and in one piece so I won't plow my parts into a pile this winter.

Looks great! Really turned out sharp! My new paint is about the same color as the dark grey. I've been working on the wet sand today...I'll hopefully have it completed this week, or next at the latest. Then it will be time for the next project, a flatbed for it.

Why put the same dang rusty lag bolts back on the mirrors?
