A Garrett GT4202 has been used in a puller by, i believe, stillsmokin. I believe it is a 76mm compressor wheel, maybe bigger. definately not streetable.

Dang! Will those things even spool without head work or a cam?

I have this GT4294 sitting in my garage, it is just the small one 70mm compressor wheel.

My truck is just a toy, I rarely pull anything and if I do it is just a couple sleds, or an open deck trailer with a car.

I have really been debating a lot lately of just getting a tight T4 hotside for the gt4294 and running it as a single vs leaving the big t6 hotside on it and running it as a primary, or not using it at all and just run the HT60 as a primary.

The big single is just so easy, and there is so much room for it. The twins are so much more time, but are probably a lot more drivable.

Decisions, decisions.

With those big turbo's isn't it easy to fall off charger if your rpm's come down under full load. I see alot of pulling videos and when the rpm's pull down a little the charger gives up and they are all done. Doesn't twins take care of this?

for those of you that that ran an Aurora 5000 at what rpm did it start to spool, and what psi boost did they make?
Sounds like it might make a good pullin turbo for me

also any thoughts on this turbo

silver bullit actually spools quite well, with an auto it would probobly even be fun on the street but I think the big turbo's don't work as well with the power range of the ve 12v. My 62 makes more seat of the pants power then the 66. I think I have mine fueling higher than most, no defuel up to 3600 where I let off (stock valve springs) but the sweet spot for power sure seems to be between 1700 to 2700. The 66 wasnt happy till about 2000 after some tuning. I think that KTA and stomp would agree since there both running setups that I'm guessing come in at or before 1600.

yah my prostreet 66 doesnt spool reeal good till around 2000 or so rpm, but then hang on cuz once it lites its gone - 45 psi boost instantly

About to try a Pro52 which is a 71 mm charger tha tHolset makes just for things like pullin so we will see how well it works for a VE shortly

I think Bgilbert ran one as well to make 500+/- hp
