swapping backing plates on wastegated exhaust housings??

what I need: '1st gen' backing plate for the housing to bolt up square to a 1st gen DP, like this



Just need the backing plate - available separately??

I think the early 24-valves (2000'ish?) had a v-band on the exhaust. At least the guy I got this housing from said it came off a 2000. If you are near a Cummins place you could just go in and ask them to look it up.:

I got one for an HY-35. Is one off an HY-35 the same as an HX-35? It says PacBrake on it.

You can have it for the price of shipping and a pack of french fries.

thanks man I pappreciate the offer . Fortunately tho I was able to find one locally this morning at a turbo shop - they had a couple lying around and I got it for cheap. Also sourced the steel gasket at my local Kenworth dealership Cummins #3535001. I still don't know what the original application is for this plate - maybe early 12v 2nd gen?

So now it's time to clean everything up, bolt it all together, and see how the beastie runs afterwards
