runaway?

Postby toyzuk » Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:31 pm

LET ME JUST SAY FIRST THAT THIS SITE IS AWESOME!

i turned my fuel screw in and it never ranaway. i figured id turn it in then back it off a turn but it never did runaway. my screw just bottomed out then i would floor it, it would rev out, id let off the gas and it would die.

so i backed it off to where i could floor and it wouldn't die. what does this mean?

also i purchased the 3200 spring and mine had ''386'' on it. i thought that the 3200 had ''366'' on it. is this the 4000 spring, and if it is is there any downside to this spring?

after these two mods i was amazed at how much it woke my truck up. my 03 subaru just sits now.

thanks

I think the 386 spring is the stock one.

A lot of Intercooled trucks will bottom out before runaway. Did you mess with the high or low idle screws any?

Those STI's are nice. I like them a whole lot more than the Lancer. I'd still rather have my 1st Gen as a daily driver. The STI would come out every once in a while though.
