what turbo should I upgrade to?

Postby opofus » Fri Mar 27, 2009 10:47 pm

I am running 370's and a 1/4" timing bump and muffler delete. I plan to turn the fuel screw, smoke screw and star wheel. I am wanting to upgrade the turbo, but I don't know what would be the best fit

If your cheap like me you could pick up a super hx-40. I'm happy with mine, it brought my egt's down about 300 degrees at wot, and it spools a little quicker than the stock turbo did. If you really want to reduce spool up and get your egt's down, I would suggest looking into an s300, they cost more, but they are a better turbo. . . I think.
