never mind i had a mad scientist moment :D and got-r-done i used the little 90* instead of the long one.the lil one went on the airdog for the tank vent and the big one was for the fuel pump so i switched them with the thratal(i cant spell)linkage off the pump and was able to get it all tight.but i did have to modify the bottom piece of the linkage by grinding the backwards hook and it all clears everything so im on to the next step makin a custom RW(randyswelding) mounting bracket tomarrow.

:D sorry guys that was the first murffys law insident! :x my new one was i broke off both the return and supply off the pump assembly(or so the dealer calls it,its the in tank portion)so now i got to drill 2 flippin holes one for the return and one for the supply tomarrow.i think i may try to reuse the pump assembly and do a big line up grade like talked about at DTR,but my new problem with that is that i got 1/2"line instead of the 3/8"line so i dont know if it will work or not,any suggestions i got regular reinforced fuel line is there a better way to do the supply line?work truck is down but i dont mind drivin my dads gutless 2nd gen but i need the power of mine back.man i love my first gens power! ill have pics soon i took them on my phone so it may be a while

Unles you are using some sort of aftermarket draw straw deal, as long as you have the pickup (pump assembly, or whatever you want to call it) out of the tank, make sure to open up the pickup hole. Or else your fancy new fuel system wil still be drawing through a tiny less than 5/16" hole in the pickup.

As far as the connectors on top go, you can find all the parts you need for that at just about any hardware store. Make sure to loctite/seal everything real good and use whatever size fittings you need for the line it's connecting. You'll spend a long time looking for and never finding the air leak if it ever comes loose inside the tank.

Ok then where is a good place to get the draw straw tubin at?all I need is that 1/2"line cause I got all the fittings and what's the best way to seal both the return and supply since I broke both those plastic fittings on the pump assembly?

I got the straw made up yesterday like on the dtr but 1/2". Now I need another plug for the return so I won't have 2 broke fittings ill have 2 plugs and hp wise 1/2" is what the kit came with

Not to start "that" argument, but most of us could get by with a 3 or 3.5" exhaust, too. Bigger is better, even if not absolutely needed.
