Today I drug home a HX35W with 160,xxx miles and almost no shaft play, a WH1E off of an 8.3 with just a little shaft play and a bad exh. housing and a good HC1 from the floor of a shop holding the back door open  Not sure about the history of the HC1, or of the exh. housing size yet. Goin out now to find out.

Any advise??? ;)

Is your truck factory intercooled or not? If it isn't (and your still running the baby H1C) then the HX35 would be a pretty good upgrade.

I put the Compressor side of my H1E onto my stock 89 H1C for a cheap easy 60mm upgrade. Was an improvement over stock.
