In The Market For Some Injectors

Well I was a month away from dropping the $700-$1000 on a set of 6x16's when the head gasket let go, there goes $100 of my money for the gasket and another $350 for a set of studs, Then I managed to FUBAR an injector taking off the nozzles to clean them (dont ask ) so now I need some injectors. Coaltrain has some 435's for around $400. How much power should these support with 62/74/14 and Walbro pump? Think they can flow enough for 450 on fuel only? Obviously they should support more then my POD's that I messed up. My train of thought (yeah scary I know) is i can get teh 435's now (I NEED Injectors) sell them for $300 shipped in a few months when I get some play money saved up again and get the 6x16's.

Also I'm getting the 7mm's and gonna run them with the adaptors in my 9mm head for now (that was teh other thing that was going to get done before injectors). Has anyone shaved down the sealing surface of teh adaptors yet to get it closer to the stock thickness? I'm already running a .020 over headgasket dont wanna push teh injectors away from teh bowl any further.

Okay look as if I have a shop that want to help me out. Gonna get a set of 6x16's for about what the 435's cost so gonna go that route. Couple questions.

1. They should stay at the stock pop pressure right? What is that?

2. He said he can adjust teh pintal for more fuel. Shave it or something. Thoughts?

3. Also he wants to set up teh spray patter for the bowls in the non-I/C'ed pistons. What size is the bowl in these? He said he has all teh dimmensions for the different pistons he just does not know which ones are in teh non-I/C'ed engines.
