time for height control??

This is with NO LOAD!! I'm thinking about some kind of limit switch or something controlling the pressure in some airbags?? Has anybody seen/heard of something like that?

Yeah, it's a pretty easy setup actually. There are pre-fabbed bolt on kits out there, or you can piece together a kit of your own.

Would you happen to have any names or links? So I can get an idea of what I'll be making? Thanks.

Oh dang, that's for big rigs right? That'd do. Has anybody seen a VERY GOOD design for home built air ride setup?

Yeah they're for big rigs, i've thought about using them, but then I can't decide if i'd rather have more control using solenoids. These would be automatic, but it would be nice if you were backing under a trailer to dump the air and loose some height, then air back up so you don't have to jack as much but...

Over on DTR there was a guy in the 1st gen section that had a pretty decent looking setup on a ford.

Here it is:

On my lift axle on my triaxle dump I have an adjustable regulator as well as a dump valve. It is more of a manual way but I can adjust the pressure in my bags as well as dump while going around corners or when empty.

I'm putting a valve like that on my truck. Then no matter the load, the truck stays the same height. I got a dual needle pressure guage, one for tank pressure, the other for bag pressure. Should work good. I have the valve mounted, just need to hook up the lines.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
