i did a 1/8 in bump timing advance, and i lost 10 psi of boost and didnt really see a difference in my fuel milage. is this normal?

Ummm no, you did bump it the right direction, correct?
'93 W250CC, 5 speed, 3.54's, pump tweaks, NV4500 conversion, straight piped, 33's. Also, have '03 3500 QC 4WD dually, 551HP/ 1008 TQ @ MATS '07

It is normal to lose a little boost but not 10 psi.
1989 W250 727, 3.07 L/S, S300, P/S Intercooler, Stans exaust, Pump adjustments, 127k miles,297 hp

Do you notice a loss in power? More smoke?
