Injectors

Postby TTipswprd » Thu Oct 15, 2009 9:40 am

ok so i had ordered a set of 370's through New Era. I had problems getting through to them as some of you know. They will now stop using core Injectors for their orders and are now using new sets. The new price for them are 750$. i cannot afford that much so where can i do now for some sticks? I hear DDP has good ones but does anyone else?

This is true. We have had too many issues getting core injectors. The ones we get have been junk and thats IF we even get them. The price for our 370's is $750 as stated. These are not core injectors cut to spec. These are reman bodies, with new internals, new springs, ect.,and cut to spec. There is NO CORE charge on these. We will start taking orders next week and the lead time should be 2-3 weeks. The orders will be prepaid so that we can expidite a quick turn around time.

TTipswprd, Im sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Should you need anything in the future, you have my personal cell #. Cheers.

From what I hear all the less expensive injector suppliers had the same issue do to they all had the same supplier for the parts. There is a new guy that is gearing up for 5 hole 1st gen injectors. He is a member here and has posted a couple of times. I think the days of 400 dollar injectors are over. I guess you could go with PODS for around 400??

I know pure diesel power has some for $500 or so that are "120hp" injectors, but I haven't talked to em yet to see what the sizes really are. They also sell POD's.

I found some Bosch 230 injectors for $445..

My dad had 230's in his 95 12v and they were clean and made great power,
these say for 92-93 so i'm guessing they're 9mm... is that place even still around? lol what a great site huh
http://rockin-s-performance.com/product ... ts_id=1969

don't forget, Piers has their own line of Extruded honed injectors http://www.pdrdiesel.com/products/89_93 ... 4-126.html

75 for $520 and they have 90hp too, not a bad deal. Probably comparable to 370's and 435's

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm told DDP III's are comparable to 370s with less smoke. They are supposedly a 40 horse injector. I like mine, wish the tranny would put the power to the wheels though. I got them on ebay (even though they were THROUGH DDP). They are cheaper on ebay than their own website by like.... $20. I paid $474 with no core. They advertise them as much cleaner than 370's, and they are clean when I want them to be, but they will roll coal when needed 8)

I'm 99% i saw somewhere that DDP4 are 5x.013 so DDP3 are probably 370 size (5x.012) ...i believe it was DDP4 ebay ad....

don't waste your time asking DDP or PDR about hole size and all, they avoid telling you all they say is "there is no set size, the difference between the injectors are spray angle, not size of holes, our injectors are 5 hole if that helps" ,..... << thats exactly what i got back when i emailed them.

I believe it was PDR i emailed, asking about their extrude honed 75Hp and 90Hp injectors and they said the diff. was spray angle....

Instead they rate them at LPM, DDP4 are 55LPM and DDP3 are 50LPM. IIRC......i have alot of things on my mind so numbers may be off ~5

Get the 435's 5X14's. You can run your pump at a lower setting intil you get more air. I run 6x16's with just an upgraded H1C. Philip on here has 6x18's and a stock fuel screw setting. He has a super HX40. No sense in buying injectors twice. :D
