Got my hybrid turbo and crossover pipe on

Postby okish » Fri Jul 24, 2009 10:48 pm

Finally got my 60mm h1e/h1c hybrid on with a 16cm3 pdr ported housing. I also fabbed up a cross over pipe, deleted the grid heater, and threw in a denny t fuel pin. All i can say is HOLY SHIZZZZZZZZZZ. LOL, Less lag than the baby h1c and 18.5 housing, 0-10psi is a little laggy then from there it just shoots up to 40+ psi in no problem.
There is also gratuitous amounts of black smoke too. No barking and no surging, i need more smoke screw and i'll see where the egt's are. I got a couple crummy pics of the setup.

Time to revive an old thread instead of starting another one. Where are yall getting those clean crossovers at? I can get a h1e for $50+ shipping and I'm probably going to order it tomorrow. Just want to know what's all entailed as far as the crossover goes. I can put one together but that looks so much cleaner and probably flows a bit better too. Poor me doesn't have access to a welder anymore :(.

Anybody feel like fabbing one up for me if I can paypal the money for materials and a few bucks for labor? Not having access to a welder sucks.
