Delivery valve question...

I'm 1/4 way done getting the IP off the 93.

I'm putting a good 89 pump on it.

You think i should put the 89 Delivery valves (bigger) into the 93 holders (have to use them.)?

Like will i get a power increase using the slightly bigger 89 delivery valves ???

I've heard it may run funny...is this true.

Not sure if you would feel a power increase just by putting them on but I am sure the pump would react better to pump mods like the power screw and such. I would put the 89 DV's and holders in. I have heard that non I/C Lines are bigger also aren't they? if you got the parts I would just put all 89 fuel parts on (all 89 pump +parts and lines) just in case there are other restrictions no yet discovered in the newer fuel systems.

wannadiesel told me he did it on his truck and it ran weird.....

and BTW you have to use the I/C holders on an I/C truck because they're shorter, and the inj. lines come up in a different spot on I/C trucks.

So i just put the 93 stuff on the 89 pump....people have put down 400hp with I/C pumps so its fine....
