I saw it a couple minutes ago. It isn't good. Tore up the frame pretty bad. I am always afraid I will smack up mine and the insurance co will give me hardly anything. My 93 is not worth much in there eyes, but I built it so its worth lots to me. Seems these trucks are in lots of crashes lately.

I bet they total it. Too bad, it's in beautiful shape too. It's fixable, but those vultures won't give you anything for it. Let them total it and buy it back and fix it. That's what most guys have been doing. It didn't even hit the radiator!
I see the rear got hit too. Did the wall jump out in front of you?

Dana, ever have a problem with water soaking your air filter? I mounted mine like that, it rained that night and the truck ran like siht the next day. I pulled it off and went to work with out it. Took 3-4 days for it to dry out.

It hit the radiator. Put a pretty good hole in it. It was a little slick out this morning. It happened at 5:45am. I hit the concrete barrier a couple of times. Front and back. It just happened so fast. Never been in a wreck before.

Unless you had it insured for an appraised & approved declared value you can expect the insurance company to value the claim at somewhere in the kbb.com trade in value range. The red overspray on the frame indicates a repaint which to the insurance company means prior body repair and generally disqualifies a value in the excellent range. From kbb:

Excellent $2,950

Good 2,725

Fair $2,350

Two years ago I was looking to cut some of my expenses. I contacted my State Farm Insurance agent for what my 92 Ford Crown Vic would be worth if it was totaled. She could not provide that info so she contacted the main office & I spoke with a claims agent who would not give me a straight answer. I dropped the full coverage that day. KBB value was around $1250 then. I figured that I had already paid most of that value to them in their premiums.

Man I feel your pain. I am still working on putting mine back together. The insurance company didn't do me to bad on my truck. I got 4,000 for it. It also had a branded title on it. Just wanted to give you a glimmer of hope. Good luck

I would bring in several ebay auctions and/or classified ads for similar trucks in your area to show what the go for, assuming they try to screw you (they will). ask them how you are supposed to replace it for the low-ball amount they offer you when they go for this much, then slide the ads in front of them.

That is really difficult to even look at...Glad you weren't hurt in it though
