Aurora 3000 twin combo

Postby IowaCummins » Wed Nov 04, 2009 7:22 pm

alright guys im currently running a Aurora 3k as my single charger with good results. i love it it suits my needs good. well im lookign into making a set of twins for my truck using the A3k as the top charger. i have been told that it is a 57/64/14. what sized bottom turbo woul dwork good with this? im looking for basically tow twins. no full out race or tractor pull. im just a street cruiser/ racer, i tow a max of 12,000lbs and that is maybe every 2 months, i tow 4-7000lbs every 2 weeks. i will be getting head studs and thinking of doing dual external wastegates. i will be doing all welding and fab. i got a buddie that is heavily involved in tractor pulling and cummins power so he and i can tune them in good, once i figure out what i want.

the K31 is a great charger for towing twins and it is internally gated. They can be found all over ebay for cheap.

I would have to look it up but I know they are a 71mm comp wheel. It is what the a5k is bassed off of.
