tank pickup....How?

Postby bigred cummins » Tue Nov 24, 2009 12:05 am

How do I upgrade the intank pickup tube in my truck? Who here has done it? There used to be a writeup on DTR but I think their website is down.

Forget the link then, just go to dieseltruckresource.com, and search for 151190.

Pickup upgrade

Postby ZSkibo » Wed Nov 25, 2009 3:56 pm

Is very easy. Get a drawstraw from Vulcan. It utilizes your factory tank grommet, gives you 1/2" lines and a pickup. Very easy to install. They also carry all the fittings if you want to go 1/2" all the way to the pump inlet. There's another post on the board titled fuel system. Read it.
