How far did you turn the fuel screw in? When you turn the fuel screw in, it will increase the idle, so you'll need to back the idle screw out to get it right again. RPM's hanging sounds like your on the verge of runaway. Might want to back the fuel screw out a little bit.

well I have havent touched the full fuel screw in awhile and the idle has been fine, and no hanging.. then i put in the denny t today and took it on the highway for a few miles, and when i got off the highway the idle was at 1000 and the truck wouldnt shut off. and then on the way home the idle was hanging a bit.

I don't know what to tell you. When I installed my DennyT cone, my idle didn't change one bit. Of course my fuel screw hasn't been touched either. I'd still try and back out the fuel screw a little and see what happens.

Did you grease the Denny T before you put it in? The pin may be hanging on the cone. Check your lock nut on the full power screw if it is not tight it will allow the fuel screw to work its way in resulting in higher idle. If your idle is hanging you are about a 1/2 turn from a runaway, it would be a good thing to turn the fuel screw out a bit.

one less thing to worry about, ill agree with that. but i still dont like the pull cable deal. its right up there with stacks in my book. my new solenoid cant get here fast enough!
