They would fall in the 825.00 range. The 6x12 is just a touch bigger than the 435

My math may be off but.

370's

3.14*((0.5*.012)(0.5*.012)) * 5

= 0.0005652

--------------------------------------
6x.012

3.14*((0.5*.012)(0.5*.012)) * 6

= 0.00067824
--------------------------------------

435's

3.14*((0.5*.014)(0.5*.014)) * 5

= 0.0007693

Shouldn't you be multiplying by 6X.012, not 5X.012?

Nope.

The 0.5 x 0.012 is for radius. The number of holes comes at the end of the equation. Hence the 5's for the 370's and 435's, and the 6 for what I am looking for. They would work out to roughly 400's...ish.

You're a smarter man than I. Forgive my ignorance, but why would the 435's be 5X.014 but the 6X.012's are still 5X.012 like the 370's?

I'm not saying you're wrong, as you obviously know more than me, I'd just like to learn.

Are you asking how 6x.012's can still be smaller than 5x.014, and that much bigger than the 5x.012's?

It all has to do with surface area. Take exhaust for example. 2 - 3" tubes have the surface area of of approx 14.13 square inches. In order to have the same area in a single tube it would have to be 4.24"
