I want 350 to the wheels . can i do it?

Postby Lucas » Sun Dec 06, 2009 1:07 pm

they dont list the ats manifold for the first gen guys.iam asuming a 94-98 12v will fit?
is it woth it? anyone run it ...was thinking it may make my turbo swap easier.and give me room for twins in the future :?:
http://www.atsdiesel.com/ats2/productde ... _Manifolds

was going to also add

snow- water meth
exaust manifold- ATS
banks -intake manifold if it will fit without cutting the hood too much

already have a 99 powerstroke intercooler in the garage and a 06 take off turbo (he351) on the shelf .-still researching to put it together
have 6 weeks off in jan lookin to play with it then

is 350 is a little un-realistic?

They are all drop-in

Everything will fit fine, shouldn't have to cut your hood (???). 375HP to the wheels is totally obtainable.

I would skip the ats exhaust manifold unless your stock manifold is shrunk and about to break an ear off. Also don't waste your money on any banks product for a 1st gen.

Spend the money on injectors or a turbo before any of the above.

How does the truck run? You should be at least 15-16 mpg or more!!!!!! How is your air filter? fuel filter? is it missing or low on power? May try fuel cond. or could be injectors worn.

You have a 4X4 dually with an auto and 410 gears, that is what is going on. Lots of weight, high rolling resistance and a higher operating RPM range= low MPG.

I can get 16-17 on the freeway and 12-14 around town and make 355HP in current form.

What converter is in your truck ... Get that stock thing out of there if you have one...

stock convertor
truck runs great and the injectors had the nozzles doner and tested less than 9000miles ago.

iam thinking the pump is turned in to much... i get slight haze at idle and she smokes like a train when my foots into it.

410 gears and barbie doll wheels doesnt help either

filter is new
and I always run standadyne

Get rid of that stock converter. Give Dave Goerend a call, he'll set you up.
