My buddy runs one his 3rd gen w/ the stock turbo and I'm not sure it adds much hp gain, but he did it to take some stress off his head gasket, control boost better and because it sounds badass.

what kind does he run and what size? also how's it plumbed in, like is it welded on top of the manifold going into the turbo? or is it got a spacer between the manifold and turbo, comes off of the spacer? thanks

He has a 38mm Tial wastegate and it's plumbed coming off the back of the ex manifold, it 90's into the wastegate, then into a dumptube that goes under the truck. he has a air regulater plumbed in that sets the psi. it looks like a pretty simple setup and he loves it.

i thank i might be in need of one now. i just got done installing the 366 gov spring, man what a differance. its like night and day. i was kind of getting depressed, spending all that money and wasnt seeing that much power. but man, that thing runs like a bad out of hell! anyways its now making the watsegate open up at 40psi. i thank the gauge only go to 35psi, time for 60psi gauge. and i just know the drive pressure is through roof. but i thank im going to wait till i get a new exhaust manifold. but not before i get some head studs and head work. plus the water injection. sorry im just go on and on but you now how it is when your truck running good, you just got to tell everyone. thanks for the info
