new 1st gen owner with a few questions

Postby silver91.5 » Sat Dec 12, 2009 6:37 pm

so i just got my first diesel its a 91.5 w250 5-speed reg cab. Anyways the odometer doesnt work, the speedo works and seems accurate but the odometer does nothing. Any ideas of what could be wrong? The truck is bone stock right now im wanting to do a few fueling mods such as a fuel pin and maybe a 3200 spring what are the best manufactures to go with? could you give me some links? Im not looking to get radical just wanting more low boost power. thanks

re: broken odo gear

I used Southern Electronics (The link Richie posted above) when I rebuilt my speedo. They had great customer support and I got my parts in three days. The Sticky on DTR has a good VFAQ which walks you through replacing the gears.

Hope that helps.

Definitely spend the $16.95 on the 3200 spring, you wont be disappointed
