HY 35 question ?

im sure this question has been asked before, but does anybody know if a HY 35 will bolt up to our trucks or do you have to do some modification to the manifold, and second what would you do with the external wastegate ? any info or advice would be greatly appreciated ! thanks

The hy is internally gated. Compressor flow wise they are around the same as an hx35 and they will bolt up to out 12v manifold. The problem is the 9cm ex housing. It will spool super fast on a fueled 12v but the drive pressure are really high and it is impossible to keep your egt in check without a ton of water.

X2 with everything he said. Why do you need another turbo? The HX35 or HY35 isn't much of an upgrade to your intercooled H1C, so I'd save my money for a bigger turbo. If yours is shot though, I'd look for an HX35 over an HY.
