Am I wrong or do remimber someone on here putting the GS out of a vw ve pump in there pump for 4000 or 5000rpms???

I believe some people cut loops off to get more rpm before defueling also

Its been a while back but I remember about the volkswagon ve spring workin as a 5000 gsk?? :oops: coulda been dreamin too I've been known to do so frequintly.

the stock vw springs start to defuel in the 4200 to 4500 rpm range .

mild shimming of the springs and you are easily into 5500 to 6000 rpm range before defueling .

this is on a vw pump , i would expect that the govenor weights on both pumps to be the same , but you never know .
'93 w250 .... stock ...
curently removing the dead moose parts ....
