Mine runs really clean with the bosch 190's.(N/IC motor) I think you are supposed to run the thinnest possible washer with 190's,I just used the ones that were on when I bought them for my 93.That thing smoked all the time,before and after injectors,mostly burning oil I think.

My 7 to 9 mm adapters from cummins have even thicker washers built in to them,but no smoke unless I force it to with this truck. Just my .02.
