2nd gen head on my 1st gen?

will a second gen head work on my 1st gen, not as far as bolting up but the injectors? would i need to use dfferent nozzles or just whole diff injectors? will the lines mount ok?

24 V or 12 V?

12 will work. Not the 24v, it has the injectors spraying into the middle of the piston.

cool i found a head for sale locally from a 96 for $275 so i might pick it up just to have.

for what its worth me shop can get brand new castings with valves and springs and everything for like 450-500. if anyone is interested.
93 w250 reg cab. rigged up stock downpipe to 4 inch to 5 inch exhaust from p.o. mild pump tweaks and all other stock for now. Project "smoke a little smoke". www.c-techperformance.com

Be aware, the 2nd gen head may not have the bosses drilled/milled for the 1st gen throttle bracketry.

The bosses are cast, you just have to drill them. It's no big deal. ;)
