will a second gen head work on my 1st gen, not as far as bolting up but the injectors? would i need to use dfferent nozzles or just whole diff injectors? will the lines mount ok?

24 V or 12 V?

12 will work. Not the 24v, it has the injectors spraying into the middle of the piston.

for what its worth me shop can get brand new castings with valves and springs and everything for like 450-500. if anyone is interested.

Be aware, the 2nd gen head may not have the bosses drilled/milled for the 1st gen throttle bracketry.

The bosses are cast, you just have to drill them. It's no big deal.

Funny thing is, the non-intercooled heads DO have the holes.
