Where to find used Gear Vendor parts?

Postby Bschwarzli » Wed Jul 07, 2010 7:40 am

Putting a Gear Vendors that I inherited into the 1990. Only issue is GV Corp wants $500 for the little adapter!

Anyone know where I can find a used one? It is too pricey new for my blood!

I know for car parts places like carpart.com but for aftermarket stuff????

Thanks!

Gear Vendors doesn't sell parts as a company policy. I know because mine is in a pile and they won't sell me the parts to fix it. I have to send it in to them + $750 (and shipping) for a rebuild. I love their stuff but hate their draconian ways. As far as used parts, haven't ever seen any.

Hate to send anyone to e-bay, but I have had pretty good luck from time to time finding different trans adapters for gear vendors there. Just search gear vendors adapter from time to time and it may show up. Good luck.

well, tried searching local scrap dealers in your place or sometimes in google. I do searches like carparts.com used, though i am still wary in ordering online.
