Postby Deathrod » Fri Sep 10, 2010 3:38 pm

First off, Hi, I'm new to the board.....anyways i'm shoe horning a 91 non i/c motor into a 30' model A and I hung a he351ve off the side. The stock oil line fitting is much larger then the new turbo's opening....is there a reducer i can use? if so what size...or do i just need a whole new line. I cant seem to find on any posts on what size oil line the ve takes...help!!!

My '93 used the stock line, just cant remember if it was stock for the truck or the turbo, truck I think tho. Are the lines for the i/c and non i/c turbos different? You can contact Thomas at M&H INC and he can help you with the oil line, they are great to deal with.

The non intercooled baby H1C turbo does not have the adapter he needs that will screw into the newer turbo. The later H1C's that came on the cooled trucks did. I ran into the same problem when I put a S300 on my 89. I had the ciummins shop order it as I could not find a used one at the time.

I dug up the baby HC1 and it actually had the adapter....with the thick black factory paint on it i thought it was part of the turbo. Thanks for the help...just need to get the car done so i can get it running
