That's just not so...:) My 6.9 made 109 hp at the wheels when run through an eddy current dyno in 2nd gear. Now it had a 7.3 pump on it, and the exhaust looked like pouring india ink into a bowl ov water. More air would have been useful...heh-heh-heh.

That was a strong 6.9. Think of the power it lost thru what was prob a C6 trans.

I wish the boost thing worked....I make 60psi and about 360 at the wheels with no nitrous :D

If you can find a secluded enough area, you can always just mark off a quarter or eighth mile and run it. Then do one of those online calculator things....that should get you close.

Yeah...it was a snap-ring-dropping C6. That damn gearbox was the Death of that truck...though it happened to die just as a 1 Owner/1 Driver 1991 with 100k was made available by my friend's Grandfather. If I ever need another truck, it will be an 84-86 F250 with a 4BT and an NV5600.

That would be an awesome combo. A 4BT can be tuned to 200/550, cant it?

Figure it should be able to run 2/3 of the Ram motors. Tweak the pump and turbo...:) Now the turbo is an interesting prop, there are lots of them small for 6BT that would do very well on the smaller mill...as in an HX35 would be a fairly large turbo. All that said, I think I'd be quite OK with only a mild bump.
