Well I searched half the night trying to find info on the shutdown lever on the side of the pump. What could possibly make it stop working? After I chipped the solenoid rubber, it seemed a little hesitant to shut down the truck sometimes. Then after lengthening the fuel screw it doesn't work at all? If it requires removing the pump to diagnose it, I'll just install the spare pump I got from Industrial Injection (with a gutted shutdown solenoid) till I get big sticks. Any info greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like you got it turned up too much. Back off the fuel screw and I bet it will shutdown.

You need to reindex the shutoff lever, the same way you would do throttle lever to adjust idle. Or adjusting the screw that stops the shutoff lever might help.
