Factory Radio Question

Postby ktekst » Mon Oct 18, 2010 8:03 pm

Will the factory am/fm cassette radio from a 91 work in a 92?

My 92 lights up but doesn't work at all.
And my 91 that I don't drive has a factory infinity am/fm cassette radio that works fine.

Just wanted to know for sure so I don't waste my time trying if it wnt.

Thanks

Yup, from below that to '01 or '02 will fit. After that the plugs are different. I have am/fm/cassette/cd's in everything I own. The most you may have to adjust if you get a newer one is the line up peg had to be cut on mine.

Thanks Pete.

I talked to Mark Nixon last night and he informed me that the 91 would work so I put it in today and now have some tunes :)

Thanks for the information on how new of radio's will work. I will most likely go with a am/fm/cassette/cd in the future.

I think I gave less than $20 for my last one at my local JY. ;)
