I know. If I had money I would have 1 of each ( 2 wheel, auto, stick, 4x4 ect ) for every year. I think my brain is frigged. :geek: I would love to have a ALL 1st gen fleet. If I did not have to worry about rust I would not have any new trucks. I am just as happy in my old dodges as I am in a new one.

Yeh i love my rattling, vibratin, smokin, shakin, loud, bouncin, rough riddin, old truck,
if i could have any truck it would be a new 93 W350, and a new 92 W250, and
a new 89 D350, and........................well you get the picture. the new stuff
just don't do anything for me, even though it's smoother, quieter, maybe faster,
possibly better towing, and $60,000 i just don't care for them. When i pull up
beside someone i want there to be no dought its a TRUCK.

I agree with Dar, there's something about these old trucks. I drove mine to the dyno day and just parked it there. People looked at it all day, I got quite a few compliments on it. Every now and then I'd hear somebody tell his buddy "That truck did 350hp last time!" Then the buddy would say, "Really? cool!"
And I'd just stand there and

I had the same thing at dyno day ths year. A guy came over and said I had the best looking truck there. Lots of people respect these square stone age trucks.

Seeing as we're all telling stories now. I'll tell mine. I hated dodge pickups in the gas flavor and I more than hate the cars. I'm not goin to get into why those that have worked on them know already. My father in law bought my truck brand new and put 44000 miles on it. It gave good service only needin brake jobs and tires. He wanted something that ran faster and bought a new 97 model and I was forced by my wife to buy this truck to pull around a horse trailer that my gas burner chevy had problems with. I can honestly say that it has been the best thing that I was forced into. And ya'll are rite people do respect these trucks. They really do whenever it has 400lbs of front bumper and on they're sas in the fast lane.

Just opened the box that the cooler tubz were shiped in. Good god they are sexy. If they'd cook and clean house I'd marry them.
They look very well made. And are polished to a high shine. That's gonna make that black engine look good.

Looks nice! Where'd you get the blue valve cover gaskets? How are they holding up?

Gaskets are felpro brand from Oreillys. Far as holdin up they've been on for about a month and no leaks.

Ellis! They can cook!

Get this:

And add this:

Make a few dyno runs or passes at the drag strip to heat up the pipe between the turbo and innercooler and you get this!

:D

I have warmed up many cans of soup on the boat that way. My old man used to put potatoes and corn in tin foil when he hauled hot top years ago. He would throw it in the bed with the hot top and it made a good oven.
