i dont know about drilling the ip feed out but if u take a -6an to 12x1.50 an fitting and cut about a 1/16 of thread off the 12mm part and gring the hex on the fitting down to 18mm you can directly feed the ip with -6 an line and and external filter and do away with restrictive filter mount in the head and and the small factory feed line to the pump works pretty good from what i have see so far that is the way to go imo

I made my 1st adapter today so I can run the actual fuel injectors I use with my pump when it is on the test stand. As soon as I get 5 more of these puppies done a lot of pump R&D will begin and a lot of unanswered questions will be answered! FWIW I don't think you will effect the pumps internal timing mechanisim until your pressure is above 30psi. As for the boost refrenced regulator you can always put a regulator on your boost signal line so that it is 1-1 increase until the regulator prevents it from going higher so you could set a max psi at a lower pressure.

Sweet!!!
Patiently waiting.

Brian; How many rpm does it take for the pump to start advancing?

About 1rpm. As soon as the vane pump starts to turn and make some pressure it starts to advance. That is one of the reasons the 1st gens start so good as they have retarded timing to start, and then as soon as they are running the timing advances to a normal idle position. I think stock they are about 6deg not running and once they start they go up to about 8.
