Yes. You could run it with the turbo you have now.

i wish i had one of these laying around as i would make me a nice compound set up. but to adapt it i personally would make my own flange that was i belive 6x6 inches (not sure) with a 4" whole on the middle to weld my down pipe to

I have the same turbos as you, I was going to do a twins setup too. There's a guy in Connecticut that builds twins and triples sets, he wanted $1200 to build a set for me with my turbos. Only problem is he doesn't have a jig for a 1st gen, he needs my truck for a week to do it. Did I mention he's 5 hours away?

Man that sucks. I'd break out in hives if my truck was 5hrs away and they're to keep it a week.
This is really just a feeler anyway. I thought I'd see what ya'll think and maybe figure out how to do it.
How much fuel would I need to push to get that turbo to spin up. It would need to be more than the stock setting right?

Look at this Mr Toombs.

http://dieselpowersource.com/index.php? ... duct_id=57

It comes with everything. It was said ,in another forum by other people, to work on first gens. They were however talkin about putting 5" exhaust out the back and how it could not be done. Why would you need that any how. :?: :? I really need some schoolin here.

How much fuel would I need to make this thing spin with the turbo I have on the truck.

Ellis, I liked this part of the ad, DOES YOUR CUMMINS RUN SO HOT IT'S SCREAMING FOR MERCY?
I didn't like the $3k price tag!
You allegedly can't put a 5" pipe past the transfer case, that's what they mean. The big turbo is probably set up with a 5" outlet. I don't have to worry about that, no TC.

Wonder if they ever thought of ovalling the pipe as it passes the tc.

It needs to be more of a triangle to max out the space. I've heard of a few guys leaving the small piece of the cross member out to run the exhaust thru. I don't like that idea!

That is a good turbo for a compound setup, If you were asking as a single charger, NO it would never spool. I'm building a kit right now for a first gen hx35 or wh1c over the ht3b. im planning on building multiple kits, i want to be able to sell a kit or individual parts at a fraction of the competions prices.

Oh the ht3b used a "T6" flange, ebay has flanges pretty cheap.
