Postby lazyjoe » Tue Dec 28, 2010 7:59 pm

What have you guys done on your cooler tube, when installing a 2nd gen air horn? As far as shorting? And where is the best place to buy new intercooler boots?

I built my own "cool tubes" i bought a 3" diameter 45 degree mandrel bent aluminized exhaust pipe from the parts store, it was like $20 at the parts store, then but welded a 2.5" reducer on the intercooler end, then bought 6" of 3" diameter heavy duty radiator hose (its multi ply not like a curved hose) I bought 2 new 3.5" diameter clamps for the top connection, and re used the stock lower boot and clamps. In all it was under $40
