Yes both sides will have at least a 4" hole on each side. This will be my spring and summer hood. I am also going to have a place for a hood stack on this as well.

Even a '72-'74 Charger Rallye powerbulge hood wouldn't look too bad.

All else looks like shti on the 1st gen trucks.

Similar idea, but I was thinking about using a 70/74 cuda hood with the dual bulges. As soon as I can find one for a price I want to pay

I remember a few years after the 2nd gens came out, you could get the musclecar hoods for them and I have seen a 1st gen or 2 with the R/T Challenger hood bulge and the 'Cuda one scabbed onto the hood and they look good with either.

You stand a better chance of finding a 'Cuda or R/T Challenger hood to cut up, than you do a '72-'74 Charger or '70 GTX fresh air hood.
I think the bulged hoods with scoops look much cleaner on these trucks, than plain scoops sitting on a flat surface, but that's just me.

You can get the challenger r/t style hood for our trucks, but I'm not a fan of full fiberglass hoods. And I'm cheap

http://www.carhoods.com/ check the scroll bar/menu on the far left, all the way down to dodge trucks. They have a cowl hood and even a 1-piece front end as well.

Thanks guys!
Too bad AAR doesn't show the underside of their hood, I'd like to see if it is as nice as the USbody hood appears to be on the underside.

I've heard great things about how nice the usbody hoods are made.

usbody is the same company as carhoods. They have like 10 different names that all go to the exact same site.

I was thinking of doing a six-pack hood scoop and putting an intercooler on top of the engine.....I like first-gens with scoops :D
