leaf spring hanger

Postby dazedandconfused » Thu Feb 03, 2011 8:49 am

Where can a guy get a rear driver side spring hanger for a 93 D350 cab and chasis? I need the hanger that mounts to the frame.

I tried the yards but what they had was just as bad as what needed replacing. Wound up buying 1 ton shackles and had to re-bush the leaf spring and drill up the hole in the frame.

Just keep looking and asking. I found a set from the west coast. Dodge still has them, but they are not cheap.

I know my 93 w250 has the bigger spring eye bolts. What I ended up doing was finding a set that had the smaller holes and bought a big drill bit to get to the correct size. My 89 has the smaller spring eye bolt. I am pretty sure any mount from a gasser or diesel truck will work, as long as you can match the spring eye size.

Were did you get them? When I needed them Dodge had discontinued them and there were non available. I had to use the 1 tons, rebush my leafs and drill up the frame.

Those are pretty good prices. It comes with the bolts and some kits even have the spring eye bolt. I have alot of money just in all the bolts to put it back together. Sure beats dodge prices.

One thing is I have not seen a cab and chassis hanger, so I am not sure if they are the same as a pick up hanger.
