74 club cab

Postby 1stgencummins92 » Tue Mar 15, 2011 10:51 am

i found a 74 rust free club cab. Will this mount on a 92 club cab frame? how do the fenders line up with a 74 cab and 92 fenders? anyone know?

I believe cab shells are the same but you would have to use the 93 doors.

Compare the upper front end of the door panels where it meets the fender and you will see the difference in the body line.

The doors and fenders have to match. I think it would be cool to have a 70s body on a ctd truck personally.

as said, keep doors and fenders together.
grill and radiator support together also, due to head light placement and lower valance attaching points.

I found it easier for me to marry the two together, by cutting the head light and valance brackets off the 73 and moddin them to the 93 diesel rad. support.
and stripped the 92 doors to put the speaker, p/w and p/locks in the 73 doors.
using the 92 door panels on the 73

thanks guys but i went to look at it cash in hand and it was defiantly rotted. you could see light through the back roof seam and the rockers had holes. typical craigslist deal lol
