Water/meth Injection!!!

Postby 91_CUMMINS » Sat Sep 11, 2010 8:01 am

Hey guys I just got a snow kit for my truck and I have a set of Tim worlines coolertubz but I'm just wondering of they are thick enough to tap into for the injector nozzles!! Or do u need to use a weld on bung? I'd like to just drill and tap if it's possible?? Has anyone done this? Maybe Tim could answer my question!?

Yes the 16ga. is thick enough to drill and tap. I always suggest installing the injectors right after the intercooler, the mist has more of a chance to mix thoroughly with the air before it hits the head and if there is a malfunction in the injection system it will just run into the intercooler rather than filling up a couple of cylinders.

Are the stock IC tubes thick enough to drill and tap, or is welding a bung on them necessary?
