Thanks a lot Mr. Ellis. :? Now I have that picture in my head...... Uh, excuse me while go to the bathroom for a minute. :safe:

The Mighty Dodge moved it just fine. It's a 37 footer, the sucker weighs 9k empty, it must be about 11k the way it sits. And to top it off, I got 16 mpg on that tankfull, I towed it about 80 miles. I got quite a few double takes on the road, and a lot of :thumleft:
I sure knew it was back there though.

Just pulled my stacks off and threw on the diamond eye tailpipe. The couple test trips I took totally blacked out the front of the camper. :( I was not worried about it till I tried to wash it off. Some of the black soot water balls will not wash off. It is staining it, so, when its camper duty time the chrome will come off. :( My little girl came out and said the truck looked " bald " without the stacks. I agree, its not the same.

My uncle use to wax his camper on the side his exhaust pipe was, so the soot would wash off. Might work for you.

Purple power will take the soot stains off. When I bought my boat the entire one side was black. He said it had been on it for five years and won't come off. I tried everything for a few months and it never made a difference. I bought a gallon of purple power and a cheap 1.5 gallon weed sprayer and sprayed down the side. Washed it with dawn dish soap and it came right off.

I will try that, but the stacks will be off till I unhook the camper. :( Just don't need the extra work of cleaning it up. I should be able to switch back in about 20 minutes so its not a big deal. I use stainless band clamps where stuff needs to come apart and it does real easy. I only swore 15 or 20 times putting the pipe on so that went better then expected too. ;)
