Welp. 3rd and FINAL time.

Postby oldestof11 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 7:44 am

Yes sir, I have a 3rd truck coming to me.

The first one cost me $2500 and was a blast until I smashed it.

Then I got one for $3100...

And now, for $5000  I am getting this beauty pending loan. Put deposit down and waiting...

No rust except for the pitting in the bed sides. He was gonna turn it into a puller but his fiance wanted a "better" truck. Rebuilt 5spd, pump tuned by Scheid.

He as been to Scheid with this before. Maybe some of you have seen it? Been going since he was little and taken this there for the last 3 years.

He did dyno it with some of Scheids injectors but sold them to a friend to pay for his GTO he just bought. Didn't do a through once over on that and the guy ran nitrous through it. Got it home and it chucked a rod. Whoops!

So, old dyno is 252hp/728lbs torque going through OD. Showed me a graph on his phone and will give it to me after I buy it.

I have more photos coming.

I cant afford Scheid...

Wait. I will only be 3 hours from there. Screw that! I will see what mama says. Spending $5k on a truck might have her in pantie-twist mood.

Got her home! Wife has already named it. Satans' Lavatory. She followed this smoky beast home!

Here are the shots of how good she really is when you look deep. The major rust is surface like the drivers floorboard...

Seats look nice.

And the cab mounts too!
