Well, I didn't know anyone cared. :D I have not called Pete since the storm but I think the rain belt was right in between us. Pete's computer has the clap again so thats why he has not graced us with his kind words. I saw on the news today there is still towns in Vermont that are cut off. Roads all gone. They are like us, plenty of hills and valleys so when it does flood it means water ripping everything apart.

I was wondering about Mr toombs.
I think we're about to get watered down here as well. it looks like a big ones forming up out in the gulf. I hope it fizziles out but puts some water out. Its been dry but I don't want floods.

I just got the computer back yesterday, I'm trying to catch up on posts. We only had 1.1 inches here. An hour east of me got 4 inches. They closed the NY thruway between utice and albany for 2-3 days, 1 river was flowing so bad they were worried about the bridges.

Daryl, I need a place to go, what's your address?

Over 150 Maine DOT trucks and equipment just left for Vermont to help open up some of the roads. They still have parts cut off from car access. I did some storm cleanup today. A tree came down and busted off the oil line that ran to the house for a furnace. It was an older lady in a trailer park. The oil leaked into the ground and I worked with the DEP digging and hauling off the oily soil. Some went to a cement plant to be burned in their plant, and I took one load over 2 hr away to a special land fill. Long way to go for 1 load. Gotta haul more tomorrow. :? I drove up onto a mountain of trash and dumped it.

The tail end of Lee is hitting tonite here. We have flood warnings up, expected 2-4 inches from tonite to thursday morning. Things are still saturated from Irene, so it won't be good!
Thanks Daryl, but I know you're just trying to save shipping cost on the seats. ;)

Seriously though, I appreciate the offer. 8)

Man, if you didn't live a million miles away, I have a place for you to stay.

Keep the computer unplugged through the storm. That means the 3 hr porn download needs to happen soon. ;)
