And what happened to the usual VE torque=double the HP? Too big of turbos or secret way to keep it fueling up top? Or both? Neither?
It was Snow Performance boost juice that has 49% meth. We did some modifications to the pump when we had it on the test stand, but we didn’t get any results when we tested it. I only dynoed 641hp last time I was on this same dyno so I think we must have gained something with all of our modifications when it got put back on the pickup.
The reason we are not getting 2:1 on the torque is I’m not making peak power until 3K rpms or so. With some tuning I am hoping to get that down a bit before the next dyno on November 5th. That is the date for the grudge match between Jason Sands and me.
