Well, the old carhauler was originally a mirror image, 4.88s, 360, 4 speed and it would hit 70 unloaded, but I'm merciless with most of my stuff, it either RUNS, or it doesn't for very long.

Bill, I'd considered parting it out, but had HOPED to either use it, or sell it to someone who likes old brutes like these.
I wouldn't MIND hanging onto the Fibber McGee bed, though.
I just couldn't stand to see it get mashered, I probably woulda'

like a baby if I'd missed it and that happened.
Funny thing is, I have a decent stepside long bed that wouldn't look half bad on it.
Honestly, though, I THINK it was actually a dually C&C, because the rear wheels are seriously home-made and there's a lot of distance between the front tire and the steering arm on the front.
I might be wrong, though.
I'd already contemplated putting the stepside on it, with dual wheels, then put spacers between the fenders and bed side.
It would be easy to make it bolt-on.
Then, of course, it'd have to get a Getrag and a Cummins.
But I have too many projects already.
Mark.
