I was wondering if it was a KTA special myself.

It was a KTA special. He said he bought it from Brian Years ago.

I don't understand the interest in them, myself.

Unless you do big mods, you can't get the fuel to it to help it live, the transfer pump in a stock VE won't feed it enough to get more RPMS with enough fuel to cool it.
It destroys internal parts, especially if you jump to a 4mm cam plate, even the guys running them have had issues with them not holding up.
Even Rockentech admonishes that it won't live.

IMO it's a very MARGINAL upgrade at the best, just in what I have read and heard.

To me, a 13mm would probably be just the middle ground a guy would need, but since "superstition" runs our lives, 13 is unlucky.

Otherwise P-Pump it if you really "Desire The Black Fire".

There is a local "Know it all, cause I read it on the internet" jerk wad who never owned a diesel anything, before his new $65,000 duramax, running around poor mouthing the ve pump. I thought I might build up a spare fuel system just to teach him some humility. Rocky

If you feel you MUST have one, there's a 14mm RockenTech H&R posted in the For Sale on here.
