HE351 and injectors

Postby Haywagon » Mon Oct 31, 2011 7:39 pm

Hey guys getting my project rolling here and i just got my turbo , HE351cw now I'm looking for a set of injectors. I have looked around some but no deff answers. I was thinking some SDX 5x14 or some ddp 3or ddp 4 but was told sdx is a better built injector. Anybody running New era 435's are these too big its just a toy to bomb around in :D

pods will be smokey but cheep, they should support about 400hp, i would try ddp injectors, they burn pretty clean and should let you dial in that turbo without having a stupid smokey truck

I just sold a set of SDX 5x.014's to a customer who is running the HE351cw as a single, his only complaint is that it had too much power and broke the input shaft on the transmission. He has since built an 47RH and is now building twins for towing.

PODs are no longer cheap. For the awfulness of them, they were tolerated before. Now that you can get a nice set of 5x12's for around $600, or be like me and get a set on Non-IC'd injectors and turn them down, they are bad.

FWIW, I bought a set of Non-IC'd sticks and got them turned down for $25. For $125 all together, those are the CHEAPEST sticks you will find that get that can make some power.

so you would go with a set of non-ic'd sticks over the pods or 5x12's?

Price wise? Yes.

Performance? 5x??.

PODs? Never unless they are sub $200.

My 2 cents worth.
